Up early for breakfast and to check out of the hotel Cortez. Taxi to the airport picked me up at 7:30. Flight leaves at 10:15 and only takes 25 minutes to Sucre. Was met at the airport and driven to the Hostal Colonial right on the “Plaza 25 de Mayo” in the heart of the historical district. Sucre is known as the White city, since all buildings in the historical district MUST be painted white. Decided to just spend the day resting and catching up on my Blog and photos. Went out for an early dinner of pasta & wine.

I have all day to myself since it is a holiday here. Just finished updating my blog (noon) and will go out to walk around the city and explore on my own.
